Bull Mastiffs - Description
Bullmastiffs are powerfully built dogs, showing great strength but not clumsy. The scull of a Bullmastiff is large and square. The muzzle is short with good cheeks. The nose is broad with widely spreading nostrils. A purebred Bullmastiff has dark brown or hazel eyes, V-shaped, small ears (rose ears should be penalized).

The Bullmastiff's chest and shoulders are wide, muscular, but not overloaded. Forelegs are straight and powerful, set wide apart. The tail is strong at root, carried straight. The coat is usually short and hard, but gives natural protection.
Color: Pure and clear shade of fawn, red or brindle. The muzzle is dark.
Weight: Dogs: 50-60kg, females:40-50kg.
Size: Dogs: 25-27 inches (63.5-68.5cm), females: 24-26 inches (60-66cm).
Temperament: The Bullmastiff combines activity, alertness, reliability and tolerance.
Bull Mastiffs - Nutrition
It isn't recommended to feed domestic dogs commercially prepared food, but a diet that repeats the natural diet of wild dogs. As large dogs Bullmastiffs should be fed a well-balanced, natural, biologically appropriate diet including raw meat (Chicken, mutton, beef, liver), bones, fish, eggs, vegetables and fruit. Raw diet gives many benefits: no doggy breath and less doggy smell; healthy teeth; less smelly stools; and sure mental and physical health.
You should only pay attention to the weight of the dog and feed him accordingly. To check the condition of Bullmastiffs just palpate his ribs. You should feel them easily, but not see.
It's very important to supervise Bullmastiff whilst he is eating.

Bullmastiffs - Bullmastiffs are said to be gentle, devoted dogs. They are quiet and easy-going, and will hardly ever bark unless they have a good reason for it. The dog's short coat, which is usually brindle, red, or fawn requires little grooming. In terms of exercise the Bullmastiff is an excellent dog to keep. It will do well with one or two long walks a day. A leash will not cause it any discomfort.
Bullmastiffs stand at the shoulder about 25-27 inches high. Females, as a rule, are a little bit smaller.

Bullmastiffs are predisposed to gastric torsion, CHD, entropion, elbow dysplasia, and some other minor disorders. A number of diseases are congenital. Therefore, it is recommended to buy Bullmastiffs with pedigrees.
Bullmastiffs Pictures - Bullmastiffs have a square muzzle and a broad chest. The long strong legs carry a well-shaped muscled body. Skin on the face forms shallow wrinkles. Ears are small and v-shaped.
